MEDICAL CLINIC TO OPEN IN CHEMONG ROAD WALMART

JACK NATHAN HEALTH IS AN INDEPENDENT PROVIDER OF MEDICAL CLINICS LOCATED IN WALMART STORES ACROSS CANADA

You will soon be able to seek medical attention inside the doors of the Chemong Road Walmart location in Peterborough.

While some details — including an opening date and what services will be provided — have yet to be released, it will make the Peterborough store one of more than 75 Walmart locations across Canada to include a Jack Nathan Health medical clinic onsite.

The Jack Nathan website states that the clinics are open to walk-in patients during clinic hours. "If you are unable to see your family doctor in a timely manner, you are welcome to seek care at any Jack Nathan Health Medical clinic near you," the site states. "Unlike most family practices, in addition to seeing rostered patients for scheduled appointments, Jack Nathan Health clinics are also open to walk-in patients during clinic hours."

Canada. Jack Nathan Health is an independent provider of medical clinics located in Walmart Canada stores under the Jack Nathan Health brand. In 2022,

Walmart Canada included 402 locations and Jack Nathan was present in 76 of those locations.

CLINICS WILL PROVIDE FAMILY AND URGENT CARE MEDICAL SERVICES

Jack Nathan's clinics will provide family and urgent care medical services, as well as an array of specialty medical programs and paramedical services, including MedSpa and Rehab in key market locations or strategic clinical locations.

FOUNDER HAS CONNECTION WITH CLEVELAND CLINIC CANADA AND MOUNT SINAI HOSPITAL

Dr. Glenn Copeland, president and CEO of Jack Nathan, is internationally recognized for his work as the former founder, chair and CEO of the renowned Cleveland Clinic Canada. In 2008, he established the Rehab and Wellbeing Centre and Sports Medicine

Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
