GROCERY COST ARGUMENT FAIL

Heads of major grocery chains tell the government they are not responsible for the soaring prices of groceries, but it is a supply chain issue causing prices to go up. I get that, but how do the suits justify their record profits? They never seem to absorb any rising costs; they just raise their prices even higher. I understand the bottom line here is to make money, but, c'mon, record profits? In times like these? Doesn't wash.
