YOUTH SERIOUSLY HURT IN GATOR ROLLOVER

A 12-year-old youth was seriously hurt following a Gator utility vehicle rollover.

On June 9, just before 5:30 p.m., the Haldimand detachment of the OPP, as well as Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County Emergency Services, were called to a field on a private property near 4th Line in Oneida Township.

Two 12-year-olds had been riding in the vehicle when it slid and rolled over, trapping one of the youth underneath.

They suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The other youth was uninjured.

The injured youth was initially taken to a local hospital before being transported by AirOrnge to an out-of-town hospital.

DISTURBANCE LEADS TO ARREST

Police have arrested a Dunnville resident after a disturbance call downtown.

OPP responded at 6:39 p.m. on June 14 to a Queen Street location, where they arrested the 48-year-old woman.

She has been charged with two counts of uttering threats related to property damage and failing to comply with a probation order.

She's set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date.
