OPP SEEK PAIR FOR ALLEGED ROBBERY ATTEMPT
REPORT OF SUSPICIOUS MAN, WOMAN AT LAUREL LANE HOME
Wellington police are investigating an alleged attempted robbery at a home in Erin earlier this month.
At around 8 p.m., March 9, officers responded to a report of suspicious people at a home on Laurel Lane. It was reported a man and woman went to the home where they threatened the residents, demanding they hand over a cellphone. Police say the suspects left emptyhanded, driving away in a darkcoloured sport utility vehicle.
The first suspect is described as male, about five-foot-eightinches tall with a light brown complexion. He is in his late 20s or early 30s and had a goatee, short dark hair and was wearing a dark spring coat, blue jeans, a black shirt and a surgical mask hanging from one ear.
The other is described as female, non-white, about fivefoot-four-inches tall, with a thick build. She is in her late 20s or early 30s and had black hair in a ponytail, brown eyes and is possibly pregnant. She was wearing a red parka with a grey-and-white fur hood and furry pom-pom ties.
