DRIVER WITH BEGINNER'S LICENCE FACES CHARGES IN ERIN

A driver is facing multiple charges after a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped their vehicle this week in Erin.
A 45-year-old Halton Hills man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, driving without a driver's licence and failing to stop at a red light on March 16 at about 9:30 a.m.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of justice in Guelph on
May 12.
Earlier this month, Wellington County OPP responded to a disabled vehicle call on Sideroad 24 in Erin on March 4 at 2:30 a.m.
It was reported a gold SUV was stuck in the snow. An individual with a beginner's driver's licence faces charges after driving late at night.
A 32-year-old of Port Sydney was allegedly charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and impaired operation of a vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration of 80 plus milligrams.
Further, the accused was also charged as a class G1 licence holder for driving without a qualified driver as a passenger, carrying a front-seat passenger, driving at an unlawful hour and with a blood-alcohol concentration above zero milligrams.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice in Guelph on March 24.
