POLICE PROBE 'DESPICABLE' HATEFUL GRAFFITI

Hamilton police are in- vestigating after hateful graffiti was discovered on the wall of a Stoney Creek elementary school over the weekend.

The graffiti, which appeared to included a swastika and a homophobic slur, was discovered at St. Agnes Catholic Elementary

School at 80 Colcrest St.

Police are investigating and the hate crime unit has been advised, police said.

Catholic District School Board chair Pat Daly called the markings "despicable" and said they were removed Sunday.
