THOMPSON, William Thurald "Thud"

Thompson, William Thurald "Thud" passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in his 83rd year. Thud will be deeply missed by his wife Martha, sons Donald (Tammy) Thompson, Ted (Sam) Crow and daughters Julie Elson (Grant Robinson) and Deanna (Jimmy Seehagen). He will be forever cherished by his grandchildren Shelby, Ryan, Marissa, Riley, Ashley, Tyson, Jasmyn, and greatgrandchildren Skyler, Ambermay, Athena and Killian. Thud was born in Collingwood to parents Ishmael and Irene Thompson, he is survived by his brother Leslie and sisters Ruth Thompson, Rosalie Cain and Wanita Thompson; predeceased by brother Lloyd and Orval and sisters Christine Metherall and Doreen Greene. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home Collingwood Chapel on Thursday May 19, 2022, from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. Funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Interment at Stayner Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
