YOUNG, Jean Mary

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Tomkins House Hospice in her 88th year. Jean was the only child born in England September 4, 1934, to parents Edward and Edith Hills. She will be remembered as the proud and loving mother of Guy of Edmonton, Carol (Wayne) Parkes of Collingwood, David (Julie) of Collingwood and Brian of North Bay. Forever cherished grandmother of Steven (Leah), Matthew (Natasha), Andrew, Kiera (James) and Connor and great-grandmother of Jake and Aislin. Jean was a longtime member of All Saints Anglican Church, the ACW as well as the Collingwood Horticultural Society. She loved her plants, her pets, and her family; she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A service of remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at All Saints Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers donations to All Saints Anglican Church, Hospice Huronia - Tomkins House or the Collingwood Horticultural Society may be made in Jean's memory.
