On March 13, 2021, emergency crews were called to an Academy Avenue home after a man was found with a stab wound to the chest. The victim was treated at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, while police searched for a suspect.

Bullock was wanted in connection to the investigation, and police started a manhunt for him, cautioning the public he may be "armed and dangerous."

Within 10 days, he was arrested by Saskatoon police and charged with attempted murder, breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime, assault, and uttering a death threat.

Last November, Bullock pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.

The 21-year-old was given credit for time already served at the Central North Correctional Centre in Penetanguishene, leaving him with 27 months and six days remaining behind bars. His sentence also includes a lifetime weapons prohibition and a non-communication order that prohibits him from contacting the victim.

MAN ROBBED, PUSHED TO GROUND

Huronia West OPP started an investigation May 9 after an older adult was pushed to the ground and robbed of his money.

Police say the theft took place just after 1 p.m., after the victim had left the TD Bank branch on Stonebridge Boulevard.

According to police, the suspect approached the victim, verbally identified himself as a police officer and stated he needed to see the victim's wallet. The victim complied, at which time the suspect took the money and pushed the victim to the ground.

The suspect fled on an e-bike, heading north on Main Street.

The victim suffered minor injuries. The OPP said a few good Samaritans nearby rushed to his aid and called police.

The suspect is described as a white male. He was wearing a white or silver/chrome helmet, and riding a red/burgundy and white e-bike.

Police patrolled the area in an attempt to locate the suspect, but were unsuccessful.
