GEOFF CARPENTIER TO HEADLINE MAY 24 WEBINAR

One of North Durham Nature's own members will be the star of the group's May webinar when Geoff Carpentier recalls his birding adventures from 2021.

Carpentier, a Scugog ornithology enthusiast, will share his quirky adventures, challenges, near misses and amazing finds from 2021 when he set out to record all the birds he could find in Ontario. His adventure started as an effort to help a friend build a year list and turned into his own serious quest to record as many species as he could find.

Carpentier will discuss his 'Ontario Big Year' on May 24, beginning at 7 p.m.
