HOW WOULD YOU GRADE THE PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE ?
"A. We followed the best medical advice throughout the pandemic and made adjustments to the plan as the science evolved.
Everything that we did was to protect the health and well-being of the people of the Province of Ontario.
We provided supports for small and medium sized businesses to ensure they were able to remain viable throughout the crisis.
We were able to repatriate the production of PPE. Prior to the pandemic approximately 15% of all of the PPE used in Ontario was produced in Ontario. We have been able to entice industry to retool and produce locally manufactured PPE. Now more than 75% of all of the PPE used in Ontario is made right here in Ontario."
IF RE-ELECTED I PROMISE
TO...:
"Continue to be a strong voice for our community at Queen's Park. I will continue to work with our local service providers to improve long term care, home care and mental health and addictions supports.
Through my work with Ontario's Critical Minerals Strategy I will continue to bring high paying, career based, skilled jobs in green technologies such as electric vehicle battery manufacturing.
We'll work towards establishing an express GO bus route between Peterborough City, County and the GTA to make a more interconnected public transit system.
I'll work to continue to bring more treatment options to help deal with the addictions challenges that our community faces.
And of course I will continue the work that we have started to bring reliable, affordable high speed internet to all areas of the riding."
