The RAM Rodeo Tour promises two days of rootin' tootin' fun as some of Canada's top cowboys and cowgirls compete in a series of high-action events at ODAS Park in Severn Township.

"It's going to be an amazing thing," said Chad Cooke, president of the Orillia and District Agricultural Society. "Everyone should get their tickets early, because we could sell out."

Happening June 25 and 26, the western-themed extravaganza will feature bull and bronc riding, barrel racing, pole bending and trick riding, organizers said.

Other activities include a Saturday evening dance featuring country singer

Ty Baynton.

"It is going to be a good time all around," Cooke added. "It's just a really exciting event to see."

Tickets purchased in advance of the event are $25 for adults and $10 for youth six to 12.

Children five and under are admitted free with an adult who purchases a ticket in advance.

Prices rise by $5 on the day of the event.

Tickets are available through ramrodeoontario.com.
