MUNICIPAL ELECTION A MISSED OPPORTUNITY FOR OAKVILLE

The following letter is in response to a recent story in the Oakville Beaver titled Halton District School Board draft professionalism policy leaves parents frustrated in wake of Oakville teacher controversy.

Well now, this whole mess started before the last municipal election, and because the board failed to take any kind of affirmative action up until then, I made a point of voting against every standing trustee who was running again.

But they, every one of them, got back in, didn't they?

So I guess the majority of Oakvillians really thought everything was just peachy.

You had your chance to speak with your ballot, Oakville, and you dozed through it.
