2021 Water and Wastewater Master Servicing Plan Update

The Study

The 2021 Master Servicing Plan Update for Niagara Region focuses on developing long-term water and wastewater servicing strategies to address anticipated growth to the year 2051 as well as key issues including legislated and regulatory requirements, climate change, energy efficiency and system optimization. The 2021 Master Servicing Plan Update has completed the Master Planning process and has established preferred water and wastewater strategies and capital programs for infrastructure across the Region. These programs have addressed the growth as per the amended Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe and have also incorporated recent knowledge, current priorities and a long-term vision beyond 2051.
