PAST POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: First elected MPP in 2014 and re-elected twice, each time with an increased vote total. I have served in several critical portfolio roles as part of the NDP caucus, including transportation, economic development, consumer services, and worker's health and safety. I previously served as a Niagara Falls city councillor.

Doug Ford played politics with people's lives during

the pandemic. He tried to divert life-saving vaccines from Niagara and failed to protect seniors in long-term care.

He cut paid sick days for front-line workers and allowed urgent care services in Fort Erie to be closed. His lockdown rules unfairly punished small businesses while allowing his corporate friends running big box stores to make record profits.

He ignored medical experts and put his political interests first.

IF RE-ELECTED, I PLEDGE TO: finally get shovels in the ground for the new Niagara Falls hospital. In addition to fixing health care and seniors care, my team is focused on tackling the affordability crisis by raising wages to put more money into your pocket, investing in affordable housing, and protecting consumers from price gouging.
