WILMOT LIONS/LIONESS CLUB TO HOLD 39TH TREE OF LIGHT EVENT

The Wilmot Lions/Lioness Club is inviting the public to its 39th annual Tree of Light Ceremony on Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m.

It's a ceremony of singing carols and lighting the Christmas tree.

The Waterloo-Oxford Appassionata Girls Choir and the New Hamburg Concert Band will be presenting at the ceremony taking place at Centennial Fountain by the Post Office.

A $5 donation lights a bulb on the tree with all money raised going to the community.

Children are welcome to enter their Snowman Colouring Contest. The colouring page has been distributed to local New Hamburg

and Baden public schools, the New Hamburg and Baden libraries and post offices.

To enter, bring it along with you on the night of the ceremony and drop it in the Christmas wrapped box by the stage.

Five coloured pages will be drawn from the box and a cash prize will be awarded to these winners.
