DUO FACING GUN, DRUG CHARGES
SEARCH UNCOVERED A LOADED KAHR ARMS P40 HANDGUN AND A QUANTITY OF DRUGS

A man and woman from Mississauga are facing several drug and gun-related charges after Peel Regional Police conducted a search warrant in the city on Thursday, Nov. 18.
While executing the warrant at a residence on Goreway Drive, police seized a loaded KAHR Arms P40 handgun and a quantity of drugs.
The suspects, a 29-yearold Mississauga man and 32year-old woman from Mississauga, have each been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm; possession of loaded, prohibited or restricted firearm; possession of firearm with altered serial number; and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The man was also charged with knowledge of unauthorized firearm in motor vehicle.
He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton, while the woman was released and will appear in Brampton court on a later date.
