The Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Gala hosted by Trillium Health Partners (THP) is hosting their final comedy show in support of their hospital networks.

For 2021, the gala will be held virtually and will be hosted by Jessica Holmes, with features from Gerry Dee and father-and-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy.

This will be the last comedy gala held by THP as they work to redesign their fundraising calendar to promote new events.

The gala will support the expansion of the Mississauga Hospital, which THP says is critical for continuing to serve the community and its growing population.

Throughout the years, the LOL Gala has featured a number of high-profile comedians including Jay Leno, Martin Short, James Corden, Russell Peters and Howie Mandel.

Tickets start at $50 and go up to a $3,000 package, which features a dinner for four and two bottles of wine, among other perks.

The gala will be livestreamed through Hugo on Thursday, Dec. 2 and will run from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Trillium Health Partners encompasses three main sites, including Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre in Etobicoke.
