REDUCE THE NOISE AND POLLUTION

There is a solution to drastically reduce the excessive noise and air pollution that we witness in our neighbourhoods.

Simply pass a bylaw stating that all city employees or contractors working for the city doing lawn maintenance must use electric-powered equipment. Mowers, blowers and trimmers — all must be electric.

Eventually there will come a time when gas-powered equipment will be prohibited so let's put ourselves in a leadership position and do it now — It's just a better idea and benefits us all.
