BROADBAND INTERNET EXPANSION COMING TO CAMPBELLVILLE

More Campbellville residents and businesses will get access to highspeed internet connection following an investment of nearly $2.4 million by federal and provincial governments.

The combined funding for Cogeco Connexion will allow the company to bring broadband internet access to up to 299 households and businesses in the rural Milton area.

Milton MPP Parm Gill, who made the funding announcement, said in a media release the expansion has been "highly anticipated by the residents of our community and we look forward to our continuedpartnership with Cogeco to bring more homes and businesses online in Campbellville."

He said the government will continue to bring high-speed internet to underserved communities in Ontario.

The latest funding is part of the existing partnership between the federal

and provincial governments launched in July 2021 to support large-scale, fibre-based projects that will provide high-speed internet to more than 280,000 households and businesses across the province.
