APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR 2022 COMMUNITY FUND

Have a project in mind that can help add to the quality of life of Miltonians? The town is ready to provide funding for such initiatives through the 2022 community fund program, which is now accepting applications.

The program prioritizes funding for not-for-profit organizations that provide artistic, cultural and recreational programs and services that benefit the community. This year, about $250,000 will be available for recipients via cash grants.

Applications will be accepted until Sept. 12, 2022 for activities scheduled for 2023. Decision will be made in January of next year.

The Milton Community Fund program was established in 2001 to allocate funds received from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Woodbine at Mohawk Park) for the benefit of the community.

The program supported 26 organizations last year, with nearly $255,000 distributed.
