MEET PARM GILL, PC CANDIDATE
NAME: Parm Gill
RIDING: Milton
PARTY: Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario
AGE: 47
OCCUPATION: MPP and Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism
Milton
RESIDENCE: PAST POLITICAL EXPERIENCE:
Gill previously served federally as member of Parliament
from 2011 to 2015 and proudly supported our veterans as parliamentary secretary for Veterans Affairs.
Gill also represented Canada on many international trade missions as parliamentary secretary for International Trade.
For the last four years, Gill has fought to keep costs down and put money back in the pockets of Miltonians as their representative at Queen's Park and minister of citizenship and multiculturalism.
HOW WOULD YOU GRADE THE PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE, AND WHY?
After years of inaction by the previous Liberal government, the Ontario
PCs have made record investments in hospital capacity, long-term-care beds, and in the healthcare workers on the front lines. Ontario's Plan to Stay Open includes concrete measures to build Ontario's health-care workforce, shore up domestic production of critical supplies like PPE and vaccines, and invest in hospitals, long-term-care homes and home care.
IF RE-ELECTED, WHAT DO YOU
PLEDGE TO DO?
• Keep costs down for families, small businesses and individuals right across Milton.
• Continue to build Ontario's economy by fighting for new, good paying jobs.
• Encourage apprenticeships and open up jobs in skilled trades.
• Build highways and key infrastructure to make sure you spend more time with your family instead of being stuck in gridlock.
