PAST POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: I have been serving as a local councillor in Milton for the past four years.

HOW WOULD YOU GRADE THE PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE, AND WHY?

Doug Ford's Conservatives demonstrated utter incompetence in governing our province during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many businesses in the province were either closed or operated at partial capacity for over 400 days during the pandemic.

(The) slow response to early signs of a surge in COVID

cases resulted in six waves.

They were also slow to expand testing capacity and vaccine clinics in hot spots.

Although they love to call nurses "heroes," they also passed Bill 124 to cap their wage increase.

IF ELECTED, WHAT DO YOU PLEDGE TO DO?

I pledge to continue to serve my community with the same passion and dedication, with a focus on getting results, as I have as a local councillor.

In my experience, people don't expect miracles from their elected representatives.

What they do expect is someone who's responsive, available and understands their issues as it affects them too.

Someone who does not send them canned responses and someone who doesn't call longtime Miltonians 'outsiders.' I pledge to be real, I pledge to be a force for change.
