SIMCOE NORTH PC CANDIDATE JILL DUNLOP

CANDIDATE NAME: Jill Dunlop

RIDING: Simcoe North

PARTY: Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario

AGE: 47

OCCUPATION: Minister of Colleges and Universities

RESIDES IN: Simcoe North

PAST POLITICAL EXPERIENCE:

• Elected as the MPP for Simcoe North in 2018.

• Associate Minister of Children and Women's Issues in 2019.

• Minister of Colleges and Universities (2021), approved a four year Bachelor of Science — Nursing degree at eight Ontario colleges (including Georgian College).

HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE AND WHY? Grade A — After

years of inaction by the previous Liberal government, the Ontario PCs have made record investments in hospital capacity, longterm care beds, and the health care workforce. Ontario's Plan to Stay Open includes concrete measures to build Ontario's health-care workforce, shore up domestic production of critical supplies, like personal protective equipment and vaccines, and invest in hospitals, long-term care homes and home care.

IF RE-ELECTED, I PLEDGE TO:

• Rebuild Ontario's economy with good manufacturing jobs.

• Work for workers by encouraging apprenticeships and opening up jobs in the skilled trades.

• Build highways and infrastructure.

• Keep costs down by lowering gas taxes and removing unfair tolls on Highways 412 and 418.

• Plan to stay open by hiring more nurses, doctors and personal support workers.
