CROWDED FIELD IN WARD 4 RACE

Ward 4 goes from Argyle to Sonya with Oakwood, Woodville and Little Britain in between. The ward includes all lands south of Lot 17 Concession 1 - 10 and all lands west of Concession 11 in the former Eldon Township, the west half of Lot 22 Concession 1 to 15 and Lot 23 Concession A and B in the former Mariposa Township to Lake Scugog in the east, from the municipal boundary in the west and south to Lot 23 Concession B in the former Mariposa Township.

The Ward 4 seat on council will be wide open as the outgoing councillor Andrew Veale has decided not to seek re-election. The crowded field of candidates looking to step into his shoes will be Ian Nicolson, who also ran in the 2018 municipal election, as well as Jamie Campbell, Angel Godsoe, Trevor Johnston, Dan Joyce, Tyler Richards
