FORMER GTA COUNCILLOR, LOCAL LAWYER VIE FOR WARD 3 SEAT

Ward 3 encompasses Fenelon Falls, Cameron, Cambray and Rosedale, including the northern boundary of Rosedale River to and including island to the intersection of the southern boundary of Fenelon/somerville and east along the fourth boundary of Somerville. Ward 3 abuts Ward 2 at Sturgeon Lake to the east and Ward 4 on the west.

The Ward 3 council seat is up for grabs in the 2022 municipal election as the current Ward councillor Doug Elmslie is one of three members of council who have thrown their name in the ring for the City's mayoral race. A pair of new candidates will be working to win the vote this October: Doug Dickerson

who formerly served as deputy mayor and councillor in Pickering and Durham Region and lawyer and social worker Mike Perry.
