LONG-TIME COUNCILLOR UP AGAINST THREE OTHERS IN WARD 1

Ward 1 stretches to the outer Kawartha Lakes municipal boundary to the north and west and contains Lot 17 Concession 13 and 14 of Somerville as well as all land west of Lot 16 Concession 13 and 14 and Lots 37 to 72 Concession fronting on the River (Gull River and Silver and Shadow Lakes) east to Balsam Lake, including all islands, south to the intersection of Rosedale River and Balsam Lake as well as the north half of Lot 26 Concession 1 and 2 Fenelon and north of Lot 16 Concession 1 to 11 Eldon.

Long-time councillor Emmett Yeo, who has been a part of council since 2006, is one of just three current councillors who will be vying to keep their existing seat in the municipal election, but he will be up
