NAME: Kerstin Kelly, Ontario Party

RESIDENCE: Oakwood resident

OCCUPATION: Retired veterinarian; co-operator of Lindsay Airport offering aircraft maintenance, charter flights and flight training bases in Lindsay, Barrie and Orillia until 2001; coowner of Crooked Lake Wilderness Lodge in Norland for 20 years

POLITICAL BACKGROUND

First time running.

HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE?

"Due to the province's Fgrade handling of COVID-19, I stood up to expose truth and fight for our freedoms and human rights.

Medically trained, I was astounded that plans in place after SARS were ignored in favour of lockdowns and mandates. I worked on the local level with like-minded people, passionate about restoring law and order, and democracy."

IF ELECTED, I WILL...

"If I were to get elected, I will act as a public servant for the people and advocate for a recall legislation so politicians can be held accountable to their constituents.

I will be responsible to bring local issues to the province and be allowed to vote my conscience and in the best interests of my constituents without fear of reprisal from the party or Derek Sloan, who will be listening to the people and acting in their best interests.

I will advocate for no more mandates, retraction of Bill 100, restoration of all our inalienable rights and freedoms - including freedom of movement, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, freedom of association and assembly and freedom of education - and bodily autonomy with truth and transparency.

My aim will be bringing some decency and honesty back into our government and healthcare system.

I will fight against digital identity, programmable digital currency, over-regulation, excess red tape, Critical Race Theory and forced medical experimentation, especially on our children while upholding and supporting family values.

I will advocate for the education reforms and making housing affordable as written in the Ontario Party Platform.

I will advocate for rehiring nurses and staff fired due to mandates and flawed covid policies and advocate for improvements in local healthcare and caring, compassionate senior care based on sound scientific and medical principles, as well as putting truth and honesty with freedom of speech back into our media. First - Do No Harm.

We must make this a land of freedom and opportunity again."
