REPAVING ON UPPER WENTWORTH STREET FROM MOHAWK ROAD TO NORTH OF FENNELL

Hamilton Community News recently contacted city officials for an update on the road work happening along Upper Wentworth Street, north of Mohawk Road.

JUST THE FACTS

• This is essentially shave-and-pave road resurfacing with some sidewalk and curb replacements.

• King Paving and Construction Ltd. is the contractor.

• Work began on Aug. 15 and should be completed by Oct. 7, weather permitting.

• The cost of the work is $1.08 million.
