HOW WOULD YOU GRADE THE PROVINCE'S RESPONSE TO COVID? C-. At the beginning of the pandemic, it was refreshing to see all parties work together and agree with the various decisions and directions that had to be made in order to protect the public. Sadly, there were decisions and announcements made too many times at the last minute, which left students, teachers and parents scrambling for solutions and anxious as they learned schools would be closed. Also, we, as a province, were all awoken to the very harsh realities of elderly care in for-profit homes. Our elders deserve to live with dignity and respect. At this time, we must learn from all of the mistakes of the past by moving forward with a plan that helps all Ontarians recover from the aftermath of the COVID-19 experience. Financial relief for small businesses, revolutionizing elderly care and improving ventilation in schools in order to ensure students receive proper face-to-face learning and connection with their peers.

IF ELECTED I PLEDGE TO: go to Queen's Park with the intention of making decisions and supporting ideas that empower the residents of Hamilton Mountain.
