PAST POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: This is Simoes's first foray into the political arena.

HOW WOULD YOU GRADE THE PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE AND WHY: F. The cure was worse than the disease. The Ford PCs used the COVID-19 health emergency to hijack the democratic process and silence the voices of anyone who dissented. The draconian use of emergency measures failed to stop the spread of COVID-19. It did, however, devastate our economy while Ontarians suffered the longest lockdown in North America, losing their jobs, businesses, careers, education and health.

IF ELECTED, I PLEDGE TO put the health and well being

of Flamborough-Glanbrook residents first. I will do this by holding the government accountable for its actions. I will raise the issues and concerns that affect my constituents the most at Queen's Park and fight against government overreach into local issues.
