Victoria Day holiday Fireworks

The Town of Georgina wishes everyone a Happy Victoria Day! With the upcoming Victoria Day long weekend, the Civic Centre will be closed on Monday, May 23. For the week of May 23, garbage and recycling will move one day later.

Residents are reminded they can set off fireworks without a licence on Victoria Day and Canada Day only, as well as the day before and after each of these holidays. A licence is needed to set off fireworks on any other day of the year. Remember to carefully read and follow the label directions on fireworks’ packaging. For more, visit georgina.ca/fireworks.
