GEORGETOWN BREAD BASKET LAUNCHES A NEW LOOK

The Georgetown Bread Basket (GBB) has updated its logo and website.

Having served the community for about three decades, the food bank promises to continue offering the same quality of service.

Designed by Georgetown's Kelly Inkster, the new logo features a filled grocery bag embraced by two arms. It was designed to "modernize and better reflect the generosity of the ... community," shared a GBB release. The old logo of a cartoon grocery shopper will be gradually phased out.

The food bank's website was redesigned for a more user-friendly experience. Designed by Lori Mccabe, the website also shares information on how to access food bank services, volunteer, and donate food or money.

The non-profit completely relies on volunteer support and the majority of all financial donations go directly toward supporting the community's need for food, shared the release.

Located at 49B Mountainview Rd. N., in Georgetown, the food bank serves residents of Georgetown, Noval, Hornby and Limehouse. For more information, visit Georgetownbreadbasket.ca.
