ACTON MAN WINS $100K

After playing the lottery for 30 years, Acton's Dominik Chalupka got a big surprise.

"I checked my ticket at the gas station and I couldn't believe it," said the father of two. "I checked it twice."

Both times confirmed that he had matched six of seven Encore numbers in order in the Feb. 2 Lotto 6/49 draw, earning him a $100,000 prize.

"I am excited," said Chalupka, who plans to treat himself with his winnings.

He bought his winning ticket at Acton Town Milk on Main Street in Acton.
