FORT ERIE STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT FIRE SAFETY

Students in Fort Erie were able to learn about fire safety through handson classes at the Fort Erie Fire Station 5 during March break.

Each of the two sessions enrolled 20 students, teaching them about basic things like creating an escape plan and the importance of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Throughout the day, students also had the opportunity to get up close and personal with firetrucks, learning about all the tools that a firefighter might use in an emergency.
