COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENT DAY ON SUNDAY

The city of Toronto's Community Environment Days are continuing this spring with an upcoming one scheduled for Etobicoke on tap Sunday, June 11, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Richview Collegiate, 1738 Islington

Ave. (at Eglinton Avenue West).

It's the last one scheduled for Etobicoke.

Residents can bring items such as books, sporting goods, musical instruments, non-perishable food items, clothing and textiles for donation.

Electronics such as TVs, computer monitors and cellphones can be brought for recycling.

Household hazardous waste such as paint, propane tanks, car batteries and motor oil can be brought for proper disposal.
