AMARANTH RESIDENT WINS $50K IN DAILY KENO DRAW

THIS IS THE SECOND WIN FOR DE SOUSA

It was a shocking discovery for Amaranth resident Maria De Sousa when she checked her Daily Keno ticket results on her OLG app in April.

The 56-year-old had purchased a ticket at the Daisy Mart on Alder Street in Orangeville for the April 5 draw, picking random numbers out of a combination of birthdays.

"I play daily," De Sousa said at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. "I was shocked! My husband, dad, and daughter didn't believe me when I told

them."

This isn't the first time De Sousa has taken home winnings through Daily Keno. In 2012, she won $10,000.

De Sousa told OLG she plans to share her winnings with family.

"I am overwhelmed and thankful," De Sousa said. "Most of all, blessed."
