FINGER ELEVEN, TOM COCHRANE AMONG KEMPENFEST HEADLINERS

It wouldn't be Kempenfest without some live entertainment. Organizers of the popular waterfront festival have announced this year's concert series performers. This year, festival goers will be able to take in the following performances:

• Finger Eleven, Vilivant, Falset and Fortunate Losers — Friday, Aug. 4

• Tom Cochrane, Harm & Ease, Bigfoot's Hand and Lyric Dubee — Saturday, Aug. 5

• Jade Eagleson, Cory James Mitchell, Dayna Reid and Mackenzie Leigh Meyer — Sunday, Aug. 6

• Brian Neale's Northern Harbour's Margaritaville Party — Monday, Aug. 7

Kempenfest marketing director Tom Aikins said

organizers were aiming for some new faces at the festival this year. "One of our objectives this year was to keep the music fresh, meaning new bands that have not performed at Kempenfest in the past," he said in an email.
