Elected as the member of provincial Parliament for BSOM in 2018, I was immediately appointed parliamentary assistant to the minister of finance and then attorney general of Ontario in 2019. Prior to that, I served on a municipal council for two terms and was a board member of Ontario Small Urban Municipalities.
HOW WOULD YOU GRADE THE
PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE AND WHY?: Our government has exceeded expectations. We have invested nearly $20 billion in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, including over $3 billion in support to over 110,000 small businesses.
We now have the tools to manage the impact of the virus, both now and in the future. Ontario continues to report one of the lowest rates of active cases in the country, well below the national average. Our plan to stay open and out of this pandemic is working.
IF ELECTED, I PLEDGE TO ...: As your MPP, I will continue to strongly advocate for Barrie-Springwater—Oro-Medonte. I will continue to focus on affordability, the economy, infrastructure and jobs. You can see some of the projects I delivered at bsom.ontariopc.ca/delivering-results.
