DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED FOLLOWING COLLISION

On Feb. 1, at approximately 11 p.m., Renfrew Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision in Whitewater Region Township.

Justin Ranger, 38, of Saint-Hubert, QC, was charged with: operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs; and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). The charges have not been proven in court.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on April 5.

The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated 221 calls for service between Jan. 31 and Feb. 7 and 211 calls for service between Feb. 7 and 13.

MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISIONS

Renfrew OPP investigated 11 motor vehicle collisions between Jan. 31 and Feb. 7 and 13 motor vehicle collisions between Feb. 7 and 13.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Renfrew OPP officers investigated four domestic disputes between Jan. 31 and Feb. 7 and eight between Feb. 7 and 13.

Charges were laid in one case.
