KADE MACWILLIAMS IS ONTARIO PARTY CANDIDATE FOR RENFREW-NIPISSING-PEMBROKE

NAME: Kade MacWilliams

AGE: 19

PARTY: Ontario Party

PREVIOUS POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: None

OCCUPATION: Biomedical and electrical engineering student at Carleton University

TOP THREE ISSUES:

Our health-care system has been mismanaged and neglected by the establishment parties. This has led median wait times to see a medical specialist to rise from 9.3 weeks, in 1993, to over 25 weeks in 2021! The Ontario Party will provide funding for greater public hospital bed capacity and the hiring of thousands of more health-care workers, open more spots in Canadian medical schools, and will explore broadening the role of nurse practitioners and the creation of other health-care provider roles.

The careless spending of both the provincial and federal governments has caused inflation to become rampant.

The average Ontarian is feeling this pressure when paying for gas, groceries and other necessities. The Ontario Party will attack rising gas prices by eliminating provincial gas tax, and advocating for the creation of an 'energy corridor' from Alberta to Ontario. This will ensure that Ontarians are burning Alberta oil and gas. The Ontario Party will also work to bring back high-paying jobs to Ontario.

One of the most crucial shortcomings of our political system is the total lack of accountability our politicians have to the people.

The people should be in charge of Ontario, not lobbyists in Toronto. The Ontario Party will introduce 'Recall Legislation' that will allow the people to decide if their representative is not doing what we elected them to do.
