PAST POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: Matt Richter has represented the Ontario Greens in Parry SoundMuskoka since 2007, growing his vote to 20 per cent in the 2018 campaign.

He has been the Ontario Greens' education critic since 2012 and has advocated for increased investment in education, more support for special education, and the end of EQAO testing.

"The premier showed promise of leadership and collaboration with his federal

counterparts at the beginning of COVID-19.

"However, as time wore on, this government returned to status quo policies that put politics ahead of the people. The chaotic decision-making and lack of transparency and communication around our schools, our health system, and our economy left Ontarians exhausted, confused, and more divided than ever."
