WINNING TICKET BOUGHT AT SAM'S FOOD STORE ON HUNT STREET

Retirement just got a little easier for an Ajax woman.

Mary Fernandes won the $100,000 top prize with the Instant Crossword Tripler lottery game.

A retiree, Fernandes said she is a regular lottery player and loves playing Instant Crossword games.

"When I realized I uncovered five words, I knew I won something. Then I found the sixth word and scanned my ticket on the OLG App," she said. "When $100,000 appeared, I was so happy."

She said this win will be used to bolster her retirement fund.

"I want this money to last as long as possible,"

she added.

The winning ticket was bought at Sam's Food Store & Smoker Discount on Hunt Street in Ajax.
