MARSHVILLE LIONS LAST SATURDAY BREAKFAST STILL CANCELLED

While they had originally hoped to resume the Last Saturday Breakfast program in

January, the Marshville Lions have decided to keep it scuttled amid the particularly virulent flu season that has gripped Ontario this winter.

"We feel that returning to

Breakfast at this time is premature," said Neil Hoogendoorn from the Marshville Lions. "Our Breakfast has many people in a small space, and we feel responsible for the health of all our patrons and our members."

The club has not yet made a decision about exactly when it will resume the Last Saturday Breakfast. The Lions plan to monitor recommendations

from Ontario Health and resume the breakfast program once the flu season is in the rear view.
