FESTIVAL TAKES OVER DOWNTOWN GRIMSBY

Grimsby's major summer festival returned last weekend and didn't disappoint.

Taking place in Grimsby, it saw the downtown area packed with visitors taking in music, entertainment and children's activities and visiting the many vendors set up along a portion of Main Street West. There was no shortage of things to do, but the Ferris wheel was among the most popular, with a lineup stretching through the downtown for much of the afternoon.

The event started on Thursday with a special farmers' market, continuing Friday and Saturday.
