CELEBRATION OF LIFE PLANNED FOR FERMIN SANTO SANCHEZ

SPANISH-LANGUAGE SERVICE TO BE FOLLOWED BY COMMUNITY MEAL

St. John's Anglican Church will be honouring the life of a migrant farm worker who died after he was struck by a vehicle while walking with a bicycle on Seventh Street.

The church's Sunday Spanish-language

service will be in honour of Fermin Santo Sanchez and act as a celebration of his life. Sanchez died after he was struck by an SUV on Monday, June 13. He was one of three people who were hit in the incident.

Following the service, the church will host a community dinner. All are welcome. Mass gets underway at 3 p.m. The church is located at 2878 St. John's Dr.
