PAST POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: Prior to being elected as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Niagara West—Glanbrook in 2016, I served on Parliament Hill as a legislative assistant and policy analyst for an MP. Since 2016, I have worked with Premier Ford and the Ontario PC team to bring forward the concerns of the families and job creators of Niagara West. As parliamentary assistant to the minister of education, I have focused on improvements to the education system for students and their families.

PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE AND WHY?

Despite the unpredictable and challenging nature of this once in a century pandemic, Premier Ford's Ontario PC team worked tirelessly to keep Ontarians safe, protecting the lives and livelihoods of families and workers, and supporting our most vulnerable. Since the pandemic struck, we have added 3,100 beds to the healthcare system, hired 27,000 PSWs (personal support workers), 5,000 nurses, and hundreds of doctors. I know we are all tired of COVID-19, but with the widespread uptake of vaccines, new antiviral medications, and an expanded healthcare system, we are well positioned to rebuild Ontario and move beyond COVID-19.

IF RE-ELECTED, WHAT DO YOU PLEDGE TO DO? I pledge to continue listening to the people of Niagara West, working hard on their behalf, and representing their concerns with honesty and integrity. I will work with Premier Ford to bring forward policies which: keep costs down for families, rebuild our economy, keep Ontario open, build key infrastructure like our new WLMH (West Lincoln Memorial Hospital), and help workers earn bigger paycheques.
